SB&J Enterprises in the Community

“If we don’t take care of our community, who will?”

-Bernard Johnson

Over 30 years ago, when founder, Bernard “Bernie” Johnson was presented with the prospect of opening a concession space at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, there was no doubt that he would seize the opportunity.  Already a prominent business man in the Greater Charlotte area, he believed that new opportunities for him were in fact new opportunities for the community. Because he believed after all, “If we don’t take care of our community, who will?”.

Rooted in a strong sense of family and community set forth by founder Mr. Johnson, the SB&J Enterprises Foundation was founded by current owners Sue, Rhonda, and Yolanda Johnson.  It is an essential part of business that the owners continue the legacy of serving the communities surrounding them.  We encourage our employees to actively participate in Foundation sponsored events, as well as any service organizations on their own.
