About Us

At SB&J Enterprises, we’re more than a food and beverage operator—we’re a team dedicated to quality, community, and creating memorable experiences through our mix of national franchises and exclusive signature brands.

Who We Are

SB&J Enterprises is a family-owned company proudly serving airport travelers with exceptional concessions and service. Founded by Ms. Johnson, we’ve built a reputation for quality, reliability, and a commitment to the communities we serve.

Our Founders

Sue & Bernie Johnson

James Bernard Johnson co-founded SBJ Enterprises Inc., serving as its CEO and principal shareholder. A distinguished alumnus of North Carolina Central University and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, he guided SBJ and its sister company, Clara Inc., through years of successful operations. Under his leadership, the companies managed three retail establishments located within Charlotte/Douglas International Airport—a testament to his vision and entrepreneurial spirit.
